Transmission 001 · Why now

Not a memorial. An accounting.

A quarter-century after the attacks, the consequences are still unfolding. War powers expanded. Surveillance became ordinary. Public trust fractured.

This live forum brings together veterans, organizers, commentators, and independent voices to examine what was built in the shadow of 9/11—and why it matters now.

The forever-war bill

What did two decades of intervention cost the people asked to fight—and the public asked to fund it?

The surveillance state

How did emergency powers become permanent infrastructure, and who is watching the watchers now?

The war comes home

What happens when tools built for distant battlefields are turned toward dissent, journalism, and everyday life?
